I went to Radioshack today and asked what kind of FM Transmitters they have and they told me that the best they have is the Monster iCarPlay Wireless Plus FM Transmitter.
Now it is 80 bucks and I didn't just want to give it a shot and maybe dissapointed. Do any of you guys have that one or know more about it? Does it work well for you or do you get a lot of interference?
Please help me. I appreciate it!

iPod Monster FM Charger for sale
I have a used iPod Monster FM car chargers. It is in good shape and works fine.
I only want $20 for it, plus you pay shipping from NM.
I used it until I decided to go with a direct connection to my stereo. It worked fine for me but it all depends on how much static your FM stations produce which are close to the station you are tuning the Ipod to.
If you want to try it out, just post a reply and maybe we can arrange something.

I use the icarplay fm transmitter (non + version) in my mazda3. I love it. I think it's the next best thing to a direct connection. It will recharge your ipod, and is a fairly powerful transmitter.
My antenna is a the back of the roof on my car. I had the itrip but the added distance (used it on a vitaria with the antenna on the front before I got the mazda) plus the addition of having to pass through the roof was too much for the itrip.
On occasion i can hear a small amount of background static, but you really have to listen for it. And the 2 sec between sounds u might hear a hint of it, but rarely.
It's the best fm transmitter that i've used so far.

For a FM trans. it's the best you can get IMO. You will here some static from time to time, but not too bad.

I do use paypal, what condition is it in? Do you have the manual and software? Does it work with the 30GB iPod Photo?? I have the itrip and have had no problems with it, but my hubby wants to try something different. Does it work pretty much the same way, just a different brand??? Thanx!

jbcox2002 it works with my 30GB photo, there is no software for it. Plus to tell you the truth u don't need a manual.
Here is your manual:
1. Plug icarplay into 12v socket in your car.
2. Plug dock connecter into the dock socket of the ipod
3. Turn on car.
4. Change radio station to match the station trasmitter from the icarplay.
5. Hit play on the ipod and enjoy your music.
To change the station it transmits on, you use an linline controller that consists of one button. By pressing the button it cycle through it's 6 stations one at a time.
The only complaint that i have seen about this product is most ppl have to turn their radio up about 30-50% higher to get a good volume. So just remember if u go to change stations on your radio turn the volume down first. Since it's line out there is no volume adjustment on the ipod. But then again i've seen some ppl say this about the lineout on the dock when it's directly connected to home/car stereos.
But other then that the product is great.

Hi, I'm not sure, because of the name, if this transmitter works on stereos not in the car, or if this is a car stereo transmitter only! Thanks....and why is it better than the iTrip?

Well it plugs into the cigerette lighter socket. So unless u can get an adapter with a regular household AC plug on one end and a cigerette lighter socket on the togther it's a in car only transmitter.
It's better then the itrip because it puts out a stronger signal, charges the ipod, and does not drain the battery.
I use a RCA cable for my main stereo and I have a male to male audio cable that plugs into the AUX port on my jvc shelf stereo.
