I have seen a post in a forum about coloured faceplates. I want to know how many people like the idea, and oppose it. The faceplates would be an accessory, and not be shipped with the iPod. They would be interchangeable, and protect the iPod.

Don't you think the face plate would make the iPod a lil bulky? Hmm... its a good idea tho. I know a guy who got his iPod 'spray painted' by a professional. Looked good... he had the canadian flag on the front... somewhere on the scroll wheel. I think that would always be a good alternative, but then again, where can you find a professional spray painter? :p

Well I HATE cases, additions, and accessories that are bulky. My idea of a faceplate would be very thin (probly 2.5-2 mm thick). This way there is a protection on the iPod from scratches, and you can change the colour to your mood. It wouldnt be hard to make them (I could design them and give them to a company), but I just need enough people wanting them:)

Well I guess if its that thin it would be amazing! Especially if it covers the back as well... I'm soo worried about the back, I like carry around my iPod in a cloth just to make sure that I dont get any scratches on it!
You know what, maybe you should open a thread about the faceplates under "Wish List".
