Correcting Artist name

Does anyone know if there's a script that will take similar artist ie. (AC-DC, AC/DC, acdc, etc.) and make them all look the same? Downloading music and ripping cd's sometimes displays different fonts or lower case letters for the same artist. any help is much appreciated.

Don't know of any such script; there's online services, but they can be flaky too ;-) If album names are fairly consistent, it's not too hard to correct artist names "by hand" -- set your Grid view to display albums; click on an album you want to fix and press Cmd-I (Ctrl-I on windows) to bring up the Multiple Items Info box; enter the correct artist name and you're done. You can select multiple albums at a time if you want.
