Sounded crappy to me. Overall made cheaply too but so was the price of $34.95. Great customer service though, they responded to me very quickly and credited me back.
I've tried several portable units already. You should try out the Creative Labs "TravelSound 200" this is a great powerful little unit which can be used with Ipod or Laptop, great for traveling. $69 list, but available on web for $45.bought hers 2 weeks ago there was a $20 I had hopes of the Pacrim's larger speaker to sound a lot better than it did. I totally disagree with the review of PacRim done on this site. I bought two pairs and my Daughter didn't like the PacRim sound either, but she loved the Travelsound 200 so I had to buy her one also. When I bought hers two weeks ago there was a $20 rebate so her unit was about $25 (not too shabby). But it was up March 31st. Look around there may be another rebate soon as they clear old stock. They want to push the $89 new model I-300 which has memory onboard and can take a 128 smart media card but one does not need this when they own an Ipod. |

Here is a currency converter: http://www.xe.com/
If I understand your question correctly it works out to $69 U.S. you should be able to find the "travelsound 200" on the web for $45-50 U.S. plus shipping. I would not pay more than $15 shipping to AUS so a good price would be about $60 U.S. (including shipping) If the site ships to AUS (many don't) you can email them and ask how much your total cost will be.
