recently got these for my 15gb ipod & am not overly impressed with them to be honest. the sound is not fantastic ( my sony mdr-v300) knock them into a cocked hat for sound although they are not in ear phones.
they also really hurt my ears(with the smallest plugs) especially the rubber ones, has anybody any tips on comfort & do i need to wear these headphones in before chucking them in the bin!

Chuck them in a bin?

Try using the foamies - I used the rubber sleeves and they were a little hard for me. Shame they aren't a bit softer like the Sony EX71 sleeves.

If you're new to having things stuffed into your ear canal then maybe wear normal foam earplugs over night for a few days just to get accustomed to it.

If you don't want your E2's then sell them - I'm sure if you ask a sensible price you may get a buyer.
