I have a 03 4runner with the stock single disc h/u. I would like to hook up my ipod to my factory JBL h/u. I know they make adapters for the aux input that you connect to the back of the h/u but, I am wondering how can the adapter (icelink, blitasafe etc) connect to the h/u when there is no aux input as in my case. And how do you select the ipod fuction on the factory stereo when there is no aux input???? I would imagine there is something out there that will work (without using a fm transmitter), but I have only found write ups and reviews on stock stereos with an aux input. thanks in advance for the help.

If you go to logjam electronics and look up your car, you should find what you need. If you email their support, they're pretty good at answering all questions.

Thanks for the input but I don't want to replace the h/u due to the complexity of rewiring the JBL 10 speaker stereo system and the fact that the car will be more likely to be broken into if thieves thought that there was a good stereo in the vehicle.
