Without a doubt the Sony MDR-EX 51/71/81 line of earphones are among the most popular around here. The eartips, however, are easily lost or misplaced as many Loungers can attest to. After reading multiple posts about users wanting to buy/sell/trade the Sony earbud tips/sleeves. I felt it would be a good addition to this forum to make a thread that is solely dedicated to the buying/selling/trading of these. Since the thread would reach a more appropriate audience in the Ear/Headphone forum, I decided to place it here instead of at the Classifieds forum.
So, if you have lost one or more of these eartips you can now post an offer in here, instead of paying a ridiculous amount of money, for essentially a piece of rubber/silicone, from Sony. If you only use one size you may consider selling them here and/or perhaps making a trade to stock up on the size you use most. This thread is successor to this thread, as it only deals with transactions. There are a few offers in there as well so feel free to PM someone from that thread as well. Let the buying/selling/trading being! -Dan Last edited by Doug Gilmour; 02-21-2005 at 11:50 PM. |

I also use mediums. I could trade my S/L silicon earbud tips...
I know I posted this elsewhere, but has anyone tried Shure's foam sleeves on the Sony MDR-EX 51/71/81's? Someone posted a very helpful thread on how to fit the 51/71/81's, but I'd still like to know if I can get an even better fit...

Wow, there are so many people already that I don't know who to contact.
I only use the LARGE eartips, so I have the small and medium to trade. Would prefer to do this with someone in the U.S. to keep postage reasonable. Mine are the black ones if it makes a difference. The color makes no difference to me. Please email if interested. Mediums gone now, only have small size left. Last edited by iPodiot; 03-07-2005 at 07:30 PM. |

I would like to buy perhaps a medium and large eartip from someone. I could paypal you the money, or send cash.

I have black EX51's.. I lost a small tip today, the only size that fit me.
I am willing to trade mediums and large for a pair of smalls. I'm in BC, Canada but have no problem trading with people from the states. PM me please if you can help me out! Thanks. |
