Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. Are there any apdapters sold on the market that can go from the iPod dock plug to a 6in firewire plug? Hope it makes some sense.
iPod Dock out ---> Some adapter ---> Firewire out My situation is that I just got a new iPod mini that connects to my computer with a dock-to-usb wire and I also have a really old iPod that only has the firewire connection to it and I want to be able to use it with my current computer. So I was hoping to find some sort of adapter that can connect to my old ipod through firewire and connect to the iPod mini's wire through dock connection. Thanks in advance. -David |

I already have a standard dock to usb cable hooked up to my computer. I want to use that dock connection to connect to my other iPod that uses only firewire.
So I need an adapter the dock can connect into and on the other end be a firewire plug to plug into my old iPod. So on one end it takes in the dock connecter that is normally plugged into my iPod mini and on the end it will be a firewire output. Hope this is a little clearer. |

there is a firewire dock cable, that has a dock connector on one side and a standard 6-pin firewire on the other, if that's what you're looking for
