Question usb to firewire????

I just got a iCraddle from pacrim.... sadly enough the usb option doesnt let the my 3rd gen 20 gig ipod charge... I didnt really want to spend anymore money, so I decided to get a usb to firewire wire.... does anybody know if this would work? I thought about pci to firewire.... but that would just become a huge hassle.... Thanks in advance guys.

From the illustration on the page you linked to I would say no. It looks like the firewire portion is for a digital video camera and not an iPod.

yeah that's for a camera, besides there's no way to change USB to firewire, you're better off just getting the firewire card

serialkiller: Why not purchase the special $20 Apple USB + FireWire cable they sell for your iPod? You plug the USB portion of the cable into your computer, while the FireWire portion of the cable goes into the white AC Adaptor "brick".
