Nice job on the Neon install and the step-by-step. Would a gray dock look good against your console?

thanks, Suprabeach

yeah, now that i look at it, i think a grey dock would go better with my console. however, when i was looking for plastic spray paints, they only seemed to have basic colors, you know, like blue, red, black, green etc.

maybe if ill try to find a grey color that matches my console sometime

thanks for the post!

I'm looking at this as a basis for installing my ipod in my car (I need to check out ipod in car more tohoughly) but I have a question.. What to do if you have a cd changer? You used that input for your install. Thats not an option for me.. unless I remove the changer which I dont really want to do.

Neon install

I just wanted to ask the time frame to do the install? Also is this something that can easily go from car to car(neon to neon)I have a 99 neon i'd like to set up the same way, and just wondering if this is something my b/g can do on a saturday afternoon?

once all the pieces were in hand, the install took no more than 90 minutes. if you wanted to swap your ipod between two neons, the best thing to do would be to have two separate dock installs: one for each neon.

if you are wondering how the ipod is connected, please read the install tutorial as linked in the first post of this thread.
