Line Out + Wall Charger Options for iPod

I was wondering if there is a product on the market that has both a line out function and a wall charger (like the SIK Imp, but for a wall charger instead of car). I know that the dock offers this feature, but I need to be able to pick up the iPod while it is still playing and would greatly enjoy not having two cables attached at either end of the pod. If anyone has any advice, or if anyone could tell me if it would be possible to build such a device (I'm pretty handy with a solder iron) it'd be a great help.

The Sik Imp can be used with the Apple AC brick. You would just need a standard 6 pin to 6 pin FW cable. It would still have two cables attached.

Yes, it does but...it connects via FW connector and is removeable. You can then connect the Apple AC brick. The car charger part is a cig plug that terminates in a male FW connector that connects to one of the two 8" tails on the Imp.

If you are *real* handy, try Bing's modded cable. I built one, but it is a really hairy mod! The wires are freakin' TINY! I can send you the pinouts. I won't be doing this one again, believe me!

And if you don't need the car charger, try the Din model. It's basically the same as the Imp, just minus the detachable charger. It also happens be to $10 less.

Here it is: http://sik.com/din.php
