After reading almost all of Jeremy Horowitz' Airplay Reviews, I'm stuck between the iW2 and the Soundavia AD7000/w37. I listen to mostly house tech house and hip hop as well as rock and classical music-so my taste is all over the place. Any suggestions or recommendations are greatly appreciated.

If bass is important I would get to a store to test these, or make sure they have a good return policy. I have the iHome iW1 which is OK for what it is, but it does lack on the bass for the price. If you are into tehcno and hiphop you probably want reasonably good bass response. My Big JamBox bluetooth speaker kicks my iHome iW1's butt for bass, both are similarly priced. I like the flexibility of AirPlay, but if I had owned the Big JamBox first the iHome would have went back.
For the price you can't do better than a $100 Apple Airport Express (which has AirPlay capabilities) and a good set of powered computer speakers. This works great for my garage, but the iHome is better even with the lack of audio quality for my portable patio speaker. When it comes to speakers and headphones reviews are helpful, but you have to hear them yourself to see if their audio quality is acceptable to you.
