Apple earbuds are uncomfortable in my ears and want to get a pr of headphones while I research the best earbuds for me ! Reviews for the B & W p3 are good but finding a reliable dealer with a competitive price seems to be difficult. Where have others had good luck ???

You're not going to find them heavily discounted anywhere...they're a premium product with a specific market they are trying to reach.
In the same way it's rare to find a heavily discounted iPod or iPhone. For less money you can get similar sounds from other brands - it's all subjective though.

For me I purchased a set of Sennheiser HD202's. VERY cheap but the quality of the sound from my ipod touch is amazing. I would (and have) recommend anyone to get a set of these. You won't be dissapointed!!
