Avoid JH16 Pro IEM by JH Audio

I ordered a pair of these IEMs in April at a cost of $1162.00. Since that time, they have been returned to JH Audion three times in an attempt to get them to remain in my ears.

Initially, the left monitor of the first pair of IEMs was perfect. The right one however, was painful. I returned them to JH Audio at a cost of $21.15. When they were shipped back to me, neither the left nor right one would stay in my ears. Caleb Ellis who handles the making of the IEMs, had no explanation.

I returned the IEMs two more times, with the same results. They would not stay in either ear. I paid $21.15 for each of three returns; the June 15th 2012 return was the final return for credit. JH Audio sent a prepaid label for one of the three returns.

When I demanded a refund, Caleb suggested that I pay an audiologist to have a second pair of impressions made ($100.00); I refused. I was then told that Jerry Harvey's wife would call me. She had not called by the afternoon of the second day following my discussion with Caleb so I paid $21.15 for shipping and insurance to return the IEMs to JH Audio for the fourth time for a refund.

I do not recommend ordering IEMs from JH Audio.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I had trouble getting mine fitted also, but now they fit pretty well.

If you want the best in-ear-monitor in universal form, I highly recommend the Westone 4.
