Red face IHOME ia91 problem

hey so i just got the ihome ia91 to use as an alarm clock and speaker system with my ipod (a 32g 2nd gen touch). the problem i am having is that any time i play songs off my ipod with the ihome, it allways automaticly switchs songs about 30 seconds in and puts itself into shuffle mode when i dont want it to. this is very annoying and i was wondering what i can do to stop this from happining...

any insight would be greatly appreciated!

thanks
