Hey guys...
THEN:
Wayyyyy back [roughly 6-7 years ago] when I got my first AirPort in my old Power Book...
Well, let's say that I guess I wasn't the first in my Building.
I remember the AppleCare guy [who incidentally was a SPECIALIST in this issue because the first 2 guys gave up] telling me this was the most difficult case he ever worked on.
No matter what we tried [and getting rid of my old 2.7 GigaHz Cordless Phone was one of the attempts] there was so much interference [despite using "Interference Robustness"] that he told me it just wasn't meant to be.
Of course... it wasn't as if he offered me a refund on my AirPort which was like 300 bux back then.
So I ended up hardwiring the whole thing and that was the end of my AirPort.
NOW:
I still live in the same building.
I have all my music on my iMac G5.
I have a bigger apartment with more than 1 bedroom now and so I just recently hooked up my Laptop and shared my iMac's library.
All should be right with the world... but it isn't.
I was in the other bedroom this morning -- and I clicked on my Laptop and there was my library.
However - my signal was only at that tiny little hash mark on the bottom.
So over the course of 45 minutes -- I heard 2 songs while it CONSTANTLY REBUFFERED AND REBUFFERED AND REBUFFERED AND.........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What can I do?????
I know someone else has experienced this problem -- is the only answer to throw in the towel?
as always - thanks in advance for all your ideas and help
