Anyone know of a basic car charger and line out unit for the iPhone 3G?
Preferably one cable to the iPhone 3G and at the cigarette plug base a 3.5 mm audio jack. I had a Belkin unit for my iPod video. One like that for the iPhone 3G would be exactly what I'm looking for. The Belkin unit does not charge the iPhone 3G. |

Check out the Kensington Liquidaux. Just do a google search.
They have the regular and deluxe version. I first bought the deluxe but the holder was not compatible with my cars cigarette lighter location. I returned in and bought the one without the built in holder. It is really nice and works great with my 3g!

I loved my old Belkin for the line output. It was a much better way to deal with volume otherwise I have to crank up volume on stereo and iPod to hear it then oh yikes if I forget to set the volume back when done....
I took a look at the Kensington LiquidAUX and while it looks promising, I can't be sure it deals with the volume issue like the Belkin did Maybe I will go bug Belkin to update their thing for the newer iPods/iPhones |
