Just a couple of questions for anyone who has the Scosche Passport...

  • Does it allow for complete iPhone control while plugged in?
  • Is anything displayed while plugged in?
  • What happens when a call comes in while listening to music?
  • Is it thicker than an iPhone?
Apparently new members are not permitted to post URLs, so here's the cheesy version:

Thanks!

i have it for my peripheral ipod to car adaptor. all it really does is allow the iphone to charge, all other functions are the same (i just have the stock radio in my car, so i do not have any displays on the radio). but i can still control the ipod part of the iphone thru the radio, and calls come in the same as before (music fades out, phone rings, i answer and put person on speaker. my stereo and adaptor do not play the calls thru the car speakers). in other words, everything works exactly as it did before.

size wise it is pretty small, it looks to be about the same thickness as my iphone with the air jacket case on (so not much thicker than the iphone).

car setups vary widely, so your mileage may vary with this, you may want to contact Scosche directly with your car setup and make sure it does all you need. i have only had it a few days, but so far i would say i am very happy with it.

Thanks for the reply. My biggest concern is that I'll be able to control the iPhone while it's plugged into the stereo adapter (KS-PD100). Contacting Scosche is a good idea.
