So, I started using the iPhone 3G provided headphones this week and am getting frustrated with how quickly they get tangled. I can't complain about the sound (I want some sound from the outside to get in because I often walk city streets with them on) and love the mic/button functionality. I also don't want to spend any more money on accessories.

However, these headphones don't have the little slider that the old iPod 'phones have to keep them from getting too tangled. Any recommendations for keeping them from getting tangled every time I throw them in my pocket for a minute?

Thanks!

Don't put them in your pocket, or use a paper clip and wrap the excess cable around it.
I like the paper clip idea. Will give it a try.

I know this has always been a problem with headphones, but headphones in the past usually have those sliders to keep them from tangling too horribly. Oh well, thanks for your help, mainevent212.
