Question Earbuds or headphones for snowboarding?

I don't know how many riders/snowboarders are in these forums, but I just wanted to know what kind of earbuds or headphones anybody uses for riding or if there are any suggestions.

I just use the Apple ones, but only cause they happen to fit my ears perfectly (thanks Apple!)

Who are you? James Bond! Next you'll be wanting an MP3 player that'll control your rocket powered helicoptor.

First piece of advice is stay away from skullcandy. To be quite honest it depends on your budget. If you're looking for earphones, i'd stay aways form the UE metro.fi 2. They are my favourites, but the cable is stiff. you might want to look at a pair of Shure's or something.

headphones....there are loads that will stay clamped to your head. If your budget allows, i'd get teh Sennheiser HD 25-1

For physical activity, I'd stay away from in-ear 'phones because of the microphonics (I think that's the term--where you hear your pulse and wind noise through the 'phones). I used to use my Shure e2c's at the gym, but the noise drove me crazy, so I switched to Sennheiser PMX 100s. I like 'em a lot--comfy, good sound, stay in place well.... http://www.sennheiserusa.com/newsite...transid=500501

I use Apple buds but my helmet pushes on them causing some discomfort. My next helmet will be a Giro with TuneUps.

Definitely DO NOT get in-ears. stick with the apple pack-ins or go for the green sennheiser omx line. You don't want to be going off a 30 foot kicker and not be able to hear everyone that is yelling that there is an injured person on the landing.
