Need for video ipod adapters

Alpine, Pioneer, Kenwood etc have ipod adapters, but their missing video output and video controls. They use cd changer inputs for controls, and no aftermarket radio has video input on the cd changer aux.
I can't think of any way to have full intergration, meaning head unit controls of a video ipod into an aftermarket lcd radio dvd player. Just use the dvd player, but 40 gigs of video on hand is better than changing dvds. Only way with a video ipod to intergrate is remotes, wires, and your ipod mounts all over the dashboard.

I made this post almost a year ago and finally there is an ipod video adapter for headunits. Hope other companies follow. Workarounds don't compare since using the actual controls from your receiver is the best way.

I use that in my vehicle and install it in a few vehicles no problem
my ipod is plug in to a alpine IVA-D300 yes using the cd changer port from the brain,
i am also using the dice cradle with the video out and that signal is run back in to the video input on the alpine brain the result is video for both head rest monitors and audio in the front i see the cd changer screen but it can be swith to the video 1 with the press of a button

I have done the same install in a 2004 explorer with factory dvd and flip down tv using the radio oem radio for audio and the aux video game input for video factory radio shows dvd and it is playing the ipod

and i will be doing a 2006 lexus in 2 week but not tohappy about showing video on the front nav screen

it is posible with what we have, we don't need anything yes in the future it will be a single plug
if you need help let me know
