Alpine, Pioneer, Kenwood etc have ipod adapters, but their missing video output and video controls. They use cd changer inputs for controls, and no aftermarket radio has video input on the cd changer aux.
I can't think of any way to have full intergration, meaning head unit controls of a video ipod into an aftermarket lcd radio dvd player. Just use the dvd player, but 40 gigs of video on hand is better than changing dvds. Only way with a video ipod to intergrate is remotes, wires, and your ipod mounts all over the dashboard. |

I made this post almost a year ago and finally there is an ipod video adapter for headunits. Hope other companies follow. Workarounds don't compare since using the actual controls from your receiver is the best way.
