iPod to iPod Transfer Cable

Is it possible to transfer music from one iPod directly to another? Somebody that I know said that there was a cable that one could purchase that would enable two iPods to connect and share their music files. Is such an accessory in existance or have I been fooled?

I am not sure if you could do this, but if you had two iPod photos with Camera Adapters on both, you could get a USB cable with both male ends I think and then connect them together like that. I don't know if it will work.

Belkin will release a USB-device-to-USB-device box in a few months. I don't know if this will work, but it will eliminate the PC in the middle of many devices including cameras and harddisks.

It might work if both pods are set to "use as hard drive" but we won't know for a while.

Podshanking will work if you don't have a mini.
