Is it possible to drag and drop albums/ playlists ( more than one at a time ) from a cd / hard drive onto the ITunes ?

similarly is it possible to drag and drop playlists from cd / hard drive on to a user created folder in the ITunes ?

if so how ?

currently i am selecting each playlist individually and dropping it Itunes later to transfer to my i pod
