I found my old (broken) 3g ipod today, and decided to see what was in it. I found a screwdriver and within about 10 minutes i had completely gutted it. I had managed to keep the outer casing intact, so the end result was an empty shell that looked exactly like a functioning ipod.

I decided to make a case out of it for my nano, because i had seen plans for an altoids can case not too long ago. It wouldnt be hard to do, but i noticed that the aluminum part of the shell is slightly magnetic. Could this screw up my nano?
