I just got the 15GB iPod and the sound quality is horrible. No matter what EQ setting I have, the trebble gets distorted when the volume gets louder and the bass is nonexistant and came out better on my Sony Clie. All my mp3's are encoded at 192kbps. I had the same problem with the 10GB model I returned in order to get this 15GB model. I listened to the previous iPod models and the sound is much better than the new model I have. Is the sound supposed to suck or is mine defective? "King of mp3 players?" I'm not convinced.
