I drive a 1971 Beetle. The guy I bought it from had it done up with sports interior and wheel, it's got a Subaru head unit, and it's been upgraded to a 1.6L engine. It's not a "superbug" but it's more powerful than a regular bug.
It's also had a shorter gear stick put in to replace the standard long one, which lets me shift more quickly
