Furthermore I like it in white, but I guess silver or aluminium would be cool too, as long as they don't make them exclusively in those tackmaster iPod Mini colours.

We'll probably see it sometime in the summer, as that was when the 4G was released last year. And there are or were some rumours that Apple is going to make the 5G out of aluminium or some other similar material to match the PowerBooks.
