Oh I was converting all my mp3's to AAC's .. whoops
Anyway, on the sound thing .. what I did was go to "Preferences" then "Audio" tab and you can tick a box "Sound Check - Automatically adjusts song playback volume to the same level".
Haven't really checked much if it's worked ... do you know if this is a waste of time?
