Good, concise review Code Monkey. Like you stated, the main reason I see for using a subscription based service is to be able to find tons of new music, and then actually purchase what you like and want to own. You mentioned that it is possible to start and stop your renewal of the service at any time...so I could say, pay for one month of Napster's service, sample some music, cancel after the one month, and only be charged for that month? Or is their 3,6,12 month 'contract' you have to buy into?
