[Light Sleeper]

I mean for a song originally performed by Randy Newman, but then covered by someone else. Lots of people have covered him; I could build a playlist of those covers.

Of course, I suppose I could just put Randy Newman in "Composer", but often the artist that originally recorded a song didn't write it. For example, the oft-covered "Louie-Louie" was written by Richard Berry, but I would call any version of it a cover of The Kingsmen.

And now I'm starting to sound like a geek even to myself.
