The mini is small but it's really not THAT small when compared to the 3g 15gb! With the 15gb, you get almost 4x the space and I think the durability of the 3g's are much better than the mini's! Now you ask, why do I say that???...it's cause even though the 3g's are more prone to scratches, their cases are way more rigid and solid when compared to the soft aluminum metal that encases the mini! It's very easy for the aluminum to get deformed! IMO, The structure of the 3g iPod's are much more durable than the mini's! The clickable buttons on the mini are also more likely to break faster! All in all, the mini's are what you may call "disposable ipod"!
