I think it won't work.

Mostly due to path differences. I don't think the iMAC uses drive letters. It is possible that it could if done right. Perhaps some of the more MAC savvy people can help you.

You will need to rename your library file to have the Windows Extension. So it needs to go from "iTunes Library" to "iTunes Library.itl"
