I have successfully replaced one contact on an iPod dock connector. It is very fine and delicate work and considered myself lucky. I would consider the damage to this dock connector irreparable. Do a search for iPod repair depots. I would say at best the mainbaord will need to be replaced and probably best left to an expert.
