I felt really odd reading these posts and was very skeptical of that. However, I can confirm this does work. I have a 7 port hub coming from the back and one slot up front. recently i started using the front port, not knowing an issue. It degraded and started to take my songs off and then not replace. then it kept this up until it wouldn't take anything.
I Read the initial post and tried it. It took me a few minutes to find the right one, but when i did, it works fine. thanks all!
