Besides the trouble with the Click wheel, (I was wondering was there any firmware or update/patches that were available for the Ipod Classic?)

My main question is. Most of my music I transported via CD's. I rarely use iTunes to buy music. Usually I add artwork (for Coverflow) myself.

My question is [Very odd] When I add artwork to a song (or album) it shows the artwork on itunes, but on the iPod the artwork is just... a black square. Has anyone had this problem? Is this because of the song format. Or jpg, png, etc...
Like I said, the artwork shows on itunes library. But on the ipod (for some songs) it shows as just a "black" square.

Has anyone had similar issues to what I saidt?
#1 - The latest firmware [2.0.1] seems to improve on the responsiveness of the click wheel. I'm not talking about sensitivity but responsiveness. Cases with click wheel covers likely aren't going to work still.

#2. - Reset your album artwork. Highlight your iPod from the source pane, click the music tab from the right pane, uncheck "Display Album Artwork" click apply, wait for it to delete, then check it again, click Apply. Your album art will [hopefully] be displayed correctly.
