Hey Polz,

This happened to me, just try the following .....exactly to the tee and you should be fine, but be aware that this will erase the current info (contacts, music, videos, apps, ect) that you have on the Itouch... but you can always add them back in

Hope this helps

************************************************** ************************************************** *****

1. Turn your iPod Touch off by holding down the top Sleep button and front Home button until it turns off then let go immediately (The reason you let go immediately is because you want the device to turn off...NOT restart)

2. Now, hold the Home button on the front and keep holding it.

3. Plug in the USB cable to the bottom of the iPod Touch while still holding the Home button

4. The iPod Touch should start up - keep holding the Home button

5. The iPod Touch will put itself in recovery mode - you should see the iTunes logo and a cable. (Now you can let go of the Home button)

6. Now you should be able to go to iTunes and restore. You can choose to just do a "regular" restore...or do a restore from a "backup" which is what I did (this puts everything back onto your iTouch, only if you have already created a backup, if not then just do a "regular restore)....you'll understand what I'm talking about when you get to this point (This will take some time, so be patient)

************************************************** ************************************************** ******

After you run the "regular" restore you can then go ahead and resync all your stuff back on. If you restored from a "backup" all your stuff will have already been resynced in the process...Hope I was clear

Let us know if this worked for ya
