Here's the 2 enhancements that I was personnaly waiting for and that are present in the 1.1.3 update (basic, not extra apps):
- New "French (Canada)" keyboard layout. This is great! This allows us french-canadians to benefit from the french auto-correct dictionary while using a QWERTY keyboard layout. In the previous firmwares, the only way we could have the french auto-correct dict was to use the French layout, which is an AZERTY layout used in Europe.
- The smart playlists now update properly on the iPod! For example, if I have a smart playlists for "songs played today", the playlist will now correctly update as I listen to songs on the iPod. The smart playlists not working was a bummer for me, as I extensively use them for managing my music.
