Is it that cold already there guys? Here (south america) we`re having a really mild spring, not rising further than 80F. Any electronic device should be kept warm whenever possible thanks to condensation. Batteries fail miserably in very cold climates and tend to discharge faster. Insulation is nice, a sock will keep the ipod warm should your wife leave it in the glove compartment again.
It never snows here, only last year and for the first time in 80 years we had a little snow that had melted away by next morning. I miss that, although not the cold!
