Slow ejecting? and iPod Quiz crash?

Loads of complaints here about very slow iTunes "freeze" when you go to eject.
But I find my iPod is very slow too when it says "Ejecting, Please wait" (this bit comes after the iTunes freeze).
Even with no iTunes running at all, and using "Safely Remove Hardware" to eject my iPod, it's very slow.
Also, is anyone having crashes with iPod Quiz. I've had two iPod Classics now, and the iPod does a hard re-start (and the grey screen with apple logo comes up) when I go in to Music Quiz 2 (not the trivia ones). Anyone else have this problem?
