[Fitzhume]

I have been browsing the forum and seen alot of posts that are similar to mine, but my situation is a little bit different. I am running Windows XP, just got a 40GB iPod. It worked fine for about a week, I put a bunch of music on, no problems. Now, my computer simply does not recognize it. Alot of people have had this problem, but what is strange is that my iPod never goes to the 'do not disconnect', and I can surf around on the iPod itself while it is docked. I figured it might be my brand new firewire card, but that is working perfectly fine and my iPod charges on the dock, so it seems like the connection between firewire and iPod is ok. Any help would be appreciated. I have tried so far to no avail:
Completely removing all programs and reinstalling
Complete Restoring of my iPod.
