How many people will you see walking down the street watching a video on their iPod? A lot less than people you see walking down the street looking at the screen changing a song.

Like I said I don't want the iPod to be solely made for video.
The reason for a video iPod is simple - the great availability of video offerings on iTunes. Right now I download a number of TV shows and watch them in iTunes. If I had a good viable way of making this portable, I'd jump at it in a heartbeat. Sure I wouldn't see many walking down the street looking at the screen, but I'd see a ton of people at my gym walking on a treadmill while watching the latest episode of Lost or The Office. Or while taking a plane or even waiting for the plane or waiting in a doctors office or just sitting at my local Starbucks. I'd use it all the time. Finally, I don't know that anyone has said that there would be an iPod solely made for video. I wouldn't want one either. I just want an iPod with a bigger screen than the current one has (like the size of the Zune).

It's coming, it's inevitable. I just hope it's sooner and not later.
