My 4 GB Nano seems to be locked out of my iTunes on my Mac here at work and my PC at home. The Nano is set to Windows.
Both versions of iTunes are the newest version available on the Apple website.
When I plug my iPod in, there is a little lock in the corner of the screen and what songs were on it are greyed out. It will not let me add or delete and songs. I tried to reformat it and do 4 of the 5 R's but that didn't help. The only step I can't do is the "Restore" because I am locked out here at work via Admin password to do so and I don't have an internet connection at home.
I think I just have a setting incorrect or something but I can't figure out what I might have done to lock myself out of my iPod.
Any and all help is appreciated to a virtual iPod/iTunes newbie.
